Purchasing
Hello and thank you for visiting Sweet Lemon Thyme! We handcraft and offer custom modest active and athleisure wear skirts to fit your personal and modesty preference. We also offer a great collection of tops!
We have a variety of product available to purchase but not all items are created equal when it comes to turnaround time. Due to high demand, we outsource 70-80% of our product to a local manufacturing team and process the rest in house. Our product is the same whether outsourced or processed in house, only different turnaround times. If an item is in stock, which it will say in the the listing, it ships within 1-3 business days. If an item is handcrafted in house, there is a 7-12 business day processing time. This time DOES NOT include packing, shipping and transit times. Please take this into consideration when ordering.

In House Custom & Handcrafted
These items are handcrafted and customized for you. We offer customizable options at checkout in current colors and prints we are offering at the time. We process orders in house which means that an individual hand cuts and crafts your order based off of custom selections at checkout. This is a very unique process and one where a lot of time and attention to detail is put in to each order. Due to this shopping platform, there is a processing time of 7-12 business days, excluding holidays and non-operative days of business. Please see the following holidays where we will not be processing or shipping orders. This processing time does not include packaging, shipping and transit times.

Easter Weekend - April 2nd - 5th
Non-Operative Days - As a small business, we do it all, which means business does get put on hold when life happens. Some of these events are planned, such as holidays and vacation, and some are out of our control, such as emergencies, and unforeseen delays. These are non-operative days where we do not process or ship orders. Customer Care is available unless otherwise noted. We do our best to notify our customers when we anticipate these days and greatly appreciate your understanding!
Outsourced and Stocked Inventory
These items are the same style and design as our in house processed items however we have a local manufacturer we outsource to in order to help meet the supply and demand. This allows us to make available a high volume of inventory with quicker shipping. Yay! These items ship within 1-3 business days.
SALE Items & Quick Ship
These items are typically ready to ship. On occasion we will provide clearance items that are still processed in house, but offered at a discounted price. These items will provide an estimated ship date, otherwise SALE items and anything Quick Ship ships within 1-3 business days.

Shipping
- Once an order is processed, please allow up to 2-3 business days to prepare for shipment. Order will be included in the closest ship day once ready to ship.
- Orders placed separately but to the same address are not combined and will ship separately. If you are wanting to combine an order, please place the order together.
- Please make sure your shipping address is current and correct, otherwise the order will not be shipped if our shipping system rejects the provided address. These orders will be canceled.
- Please ensure custom options are selected at checkout on items that are customizable, otherwise the order will be canceled.
- For shipped orders, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages due to incorrect/invalid addresses. The customer is responsible for any additional incurred charges for shipments returned due to shipping address errors on their part.
- If the package is declared "delivered" and not able to be located, we are not responsible for replacement or refund.

Orders placed prior to 1/29/21
All sales are FINAL for sale and seasonal items.
Effective as of 1/29/21:
- Due to the nature of our skirted leggings being customized and for hygienic purposes (leggings), we no longer offer refunds or exchanges on these items. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Orders placed as of 1/29/21 are applicable to our new return policy. In case of defect or error with order, a refund or store credit will be provided.
- We do offer returns and/or exchanges on non-customized items, such as tops and items sold as is at full retail price. Returns must be requested within 3 days of receiving order. Items must be unworn, unwashed and in original condition.
Orders placed prior to 1/29/21
All sales are FINAL for sale and seasonal items.
- If an order is incorrect or there is a defect on our part, we will provide a refund or store credit. Store credit or refund is available for items returned in unworn/unwashed and original condition.
- If an item is returned in worn/washed or unoriginal condition, a 50% restocking fee is applied or item is considered a final sale and returned to the customer.
- Store credits must be redeemed within 90 days.
- Please notify us within 3 days of receiving if needing to return.
- Returns must be received within 15 days of return request confirmation.
- We are not responsible for items returned without contacting us prior to requesting a return with store credit.
- Return shipping is not provided unless the reason for return is SLT's error.
- Seasonal and sale items are non-returnable and considered a FINAL SALE.
- Refunds are issued to the original form of payment.
